The Hahnemühle Protective Spray provides protection for your valuable ink-based prints.  This spray seals the printed surfaces and protects them from dirt, fingerprints and moisture.  It increases water resistance and protects the prints from fading caused by UV rays.

The Protective Spray is fast-drying and does not turn yellow with age.  It is completely transparent and has no visual effect whatsoever on the appearance of matt papers or canvases.

However, it does have one very nice visual effect on fibre-based lustre papers.  It completely eliminates surface differential (i.e. differences in reflections from the surface of inks and paper), and it removes any residual bronzing that might be present.  The result is indistinguishable from a traditional double-weight fibre-based darkroom print. And it deepens maximum black!

This Protective Spray has been tested by Hahnemühle on their own papers using EPSON, Canon or HP pigment inks.  A minimum of three coats is recommended.
